MyCampusStudio Privacy Policy

Version 1.0

Effective from: 13 Oct 2026

MyCampusStudio is a service of Ridr Technologies LLP ("Ridr", "we", "us"), 1-95/B, Vijay Tech Park, Doctor's Colony, Kavuri Hills, Madhapur, Hyderabad – 500081, Telangana, India. This policy explains what personal data the MyCampusStudio mobile app and web app handle, why, and what you can do about it. It covers parents and guardians of students, teachers, principals and school administrators.

1. Who is responsible for your data

MyCampusStudio is used by schools, colleges and coaching centres. Your school decides what is recorded about you and your child and why. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") the school is the Data Fiduciary for that information, and Ridr processes it on the school's behalf, following its instructions.

Ridr is itself responsible for the data needed to run the service: your sign-in details, security logs and the messages we send to deliver one-time codes.

There is no public sign-up. Your school creates your account and gives you access.

2. What we collect

3. Why we use it

PurposeExamples

To keep children safeMaking health and emergency information available to the staff responsible for your child.

To meet legal dutiesKeeping financial and other records the law requires the school or us to keep.

We process this data on the basis of the consent you give to your school and to us, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as meeting a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use children's data for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising.

4. Children's data

Most of the information in MyCampusStudio is about children. It is provided by a parent or guardian, or by the school with the parent's or guardian's consent, which the school is responsible for obtaining and recording. If you believe information about a child is in MyCampusStudio without a parent's or guardian's consent, contact the school or us and we will act on it.

5. Who we share it with

Each provider may use the data only to perform that service for us.

6. Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored on servers in India (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai). Notification delivery involves Apple, Google and Expo, whose systems may be outside India; they receive the notification token and the notification text only.

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Each school's data is kept separate from every other's, and staff access is limited by role.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell the school, the Data Protection Board of India and you, as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your school uses MyCampusStudio and you or your child are on its records, and after that only for as long as the law requires records to be kept.

When you delete your account, your personal details are removed within 30 days. Records the school must keep — such as fee receipts and attendance — remain, without your contact details. See Deleting your account.

8. Your rights

You can:

For anything about your child's record, your school is the right place to ask first, because it controls that record. We will help it respond.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we publish the new version here with a new version number, and the app asks you to read and accept it the next time you sign in.

10. Contact and grievances

We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days.
